3-5 Sep 2010 -- BIG EVENT AT BEST OCEAN -- There was a big aviation event held at Best Ocean Aipark on the weekend of 3-5 September 2010 to celebrate the retirement of DCA Director Khun Vutichai. We all got to see the exciting progress of Best Ocean as Khun Sittichai and many DCA officials conducted aviation seminars and gave UPL license exams at the airfield. Also, we saw that Captain "Mai" Jiratid has opened his Accellence Flying School at Best Ocean in the fantastic new flying school building. There are two new adjacent new hangars that can hold up to 10 aircraft each. There are two additional covered parking areas near the hangars and near the Sales Lounge for parking your aircraft out of the sun. The Sales Pilot Lounge is looking lovely with a kitchenette, sitting lounge, and large screen TV. There are two new Virus aircraft owned by Best Ocean on the airfield and flying now. By all accounts, Khun Sittichai and all his advisors, have done an outstanding job of creating a very high standard aviation airpark for the development of General Aviation and Business Aviation in Thailand.
